Underware Design: Looking back at KYRUSS (2017-06-07)

Welcome,  today we're going to take a look back at one of the stranger projects on the Underware Design.com site, a project called Kyruss.   This concept for the software was originally born out of our local Amiga user group back in the early 1990's, where we had ideas about creating type of game where programmers build virus that battle it out in memory.   Now rather than  doing this on on real hardware, everything runs within a completely custom virtual machine.    Kyruss environment uses a Motorola  styled 68000 styled CPU  with some memory & simple user api with custom display.

The project was never completed and today it's could be used as a way for people to learn some assembly level programming without jumping in and going native.   If you ever wonder what it like to write Amiga / Atari St games then this will give you some idea..  Which was Difficult to say the least..
