PB apps (& dev environment) will happily run Intel NetBooks,  if you want to put your PB app on their service you'll need to wrap their API

Hi, long time no see!

I have converted my PlayBasic Blocks Away game (you might remember this from 18 months to 2 years ago) to integrate the Intel authorisation stuff into a DLL (I created the DLL in C/C++ using Visual Studio 2008) which I load into PlayBasic and use to check that the game has been purchased and authorised.

I got the app approved earlier this month but I had to jump through a few minor hoops to get the game working from the Intel Dashboard - which in my opinion is not a pretty implementation - but then it is in beta at the moment.

However, sales have been somewhat disappointing but I am looking at it as a learning experience.

Right now I think the developer signup is still free, it's normally $99 per year, so worth signing up if you think you might give it a go. In my opinion its always worth trying something new as you never know until you try.

Best regards,
Adrian

AdeN,

It's nice to hear you're having a go at it.   Would you mind posting your  authorization dll ?   I'm sure there's that other around here that couple benefit from it, and it'll save me doing it..

Hi Kevin,

No problem - will do (pre-built DLL as well as Vsiual Studio project) and a PB functin to call it.

I'll do this later today as I've got to go out right now.

Best regards,
Adrian
