My opinion, I encourage PlayBASIC users to visit the website frequently. Why?

1. Many free games for us to download. I downloaded a lot of interesting games there! :D 8)

2. Chatting with other indie game developers is a good way to obtain new knowledge. I like to read posts at their forum(https://itch.io/community). I learnt a lot there.

3. Participating game jams can upgrade our game development techniques. A huge number of game jams are being hosted(https://itch.io/jams/upcoming).

4. Upload your PlayBASIC games! Mention that you used PlayBASIC to develop them! It will be helpful to the promotion of PlayBASIC. ;)

i had a look around the website and found it interesting.

is there actual code that people release on there?
it seems there is a lot of advice on which game engine to look at, or which coding language to look at, but no code on how to do something.
It's easy to start a program, but harder to finish it...

I think that means i am getting old and get side tracked too easy.

Yes....really interesting. In fact, Itch is similar to Youtube.Youtube is for videos but Itch is for games.

Some games are uploaded with source codes by their authors. I mean that the source codes of the whole games can be found on the respective games' webpages.

Right. Most popular programming languages and game engines have official forums on the internet. Their official forums are more suitable places for sharing this kind of source code.
