Well, I'll post this on other boards as well, but I know there are some musicians out there visiting these boards, so... :)

Since a while now we've been planning and testing possiblities for an application that'll act as a Midi processor and router, useful for bigger Midi setups under live or rehearsal conditions.

What is it?
Well it's a Windows-based Midi controller that'll act similar to hardware products by MidiTemp, Charlie Lab, Midi Solutions etc. It's useful if you have a couple of keyboards and a range of Midi sound modules, you want to control with these keyboards. So instead of a hardware Midi processor you use your PC, a multiple Midi In/Out card or USB device, and the software. It'll allow you to manipulate the incoming midi data in "realtime" and sends it to a defined output port.

The app isn't in beta state yet, but what I need is some suggestions and ideas.
