Greeting fellow PB gamers,

Kman here back again with a project I started back in 2007. I believe I showcased this awhile back. I wanted to develop the ultimate 2D platform game I wasn't able to do on other versions of Basic.

With Playbasic and use of Map functions along with X&Y scrolling, I was able to come up with a pretty decent game.

For the characters I used multiple sprites to define each of them and move the parts in tandem to make different movements. It worked ok for the most part.

Alot of different actions take place for the characters and each one with different levels of skill.

I guess I would say this game was inspired by a C64 game I had which I really gotten into, 'Hero of the Golden Talisman'.

Still tweeking the game here and there and has had a few bugs but its a game of certain skill.

Here are some screenshots.

nice graphics. looking forward to your progress.
It's easy to start a program, but harder to finish it...

I think that means i am getting old and get side tracked too easy.

Here is the gameplay in action.

Sorry about the quality. I don't have a screen recorder that doesn't slow down the programs I run.

Only way to show was to record off the TV with my phone so not exactly as shown as far as graphic go
