Title: Menu Screen
Post by: dangerousbrian on August 13, 2005, 07:09:29 AM
I've now got half a dozen games for my fun pub night (Thanks to a little help from my friends! :) ) But I need a slicker way of calling them up. At the moment  the pub audience sees my desktop and I just click onto the shortcuts to the various games, & these are rather naff windows icons.

I'd really like to draw my menu screen with very large pictures(icons) on it, click on one of these & go straight to the right game. Can anyone give me any pointers to the way I can execute different programs from a menu?

I'm not sure how you could shell execute a program in PB...Probably by calling some functions from a windows DLL

exefile Filename$,Parameter$

Although, you might be better off if you merged all the mini games into the one program.
