Hi Atlus,

on the playbasic.com site is a list of games you can create with PlayBasic.
Guess what? One of them is a beat'em'up game including source code.

Just look here: [plink]StreetFighterDemo.zip (http://www.underwaredesign.com/getfile.php?file=pub/PlayBasic/Examples/UW/StreetFighterDemo.zip)[/plink]

Enjoy,
Tommy

Sorry - I thought it was the same...

But some of the fighting game's source code should be very helpful for a beat'em'up, right?
Just add more enemies and a scrolling level and you're nearly done  ;D

    So we're all on the same page here,  perhaps we could break it down into parts so we can get cleaner picture of what you're going for.

    Perhaps,

     1)  What type of environment.     For example,  Similar to 'Double Dragon" or perhaps "Green Beret", "Dragon Ninja" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Dudes)

     2)  Movement / control system.    4way/8way Keyboard/Joystick/ or mouse possibly.

     3) Collisions & Interactions with environment.

     4)  Bad guys ->   AI
