Hi there :),

i hope this is the right thread!
I'm new to PlayBasic but i bought it for about 2 years ago.
My PlayBasic says Compilerversion: V 1.65 and IDE version: 1.1.7b.
Are these the newest versions.

If not how can i update, there is no Update Button!

Best Regards,

hello snake

the latest retail version is compiler v1.65C and ide v1.1.7b
***  underwaredesign > playbasic > maintanence > updates > retail updates (playbasic 1.65 and bellow) :

but... there are newer 'beta' versions for both if you choose to use them.
***  underwaredesign > playbasic > maintanence > updates > playbasic compiler only betas :
***  underwaredesign > playbasic > maintanence > updates > ide > playwrite - editor betas :

i generally have a retail version installed, and also a beta version to help catch any bugs.

there is no update button because you need to manually install to the version (retail or beta) yourself.
there are some tutorials on the website, and also youtube videos.

   hope this helps, stevmjon

It's easy to start a program, but harder to finish it...

I think that means i am getting old and get side tracked too easy.
