Hi,
I'm coding my framework to build easly my next game (a crazy delirious hardcore plateformer action game ;D ;D ;D).
I use PBFX, who is fast, and have a 3D camera.
Features :
- auto switching to the user native resolution
- engine will work in full HD 16/9 (auto scale in 16/9 is in progress)
- up to 4 players in the same time
- ability to controle every sprites of the game
- events for every sprites
- multiple game language
- in-game edit : animations sequences, animation delay, loop animations, etc
- using shapes variables for any collisions (making all the game collisions with only two shapes !)
- bitmap fonts as sprites with texts at left, center or right formated and possibility for scaling
- loading, delete images, sounds, datas routines
- in-game map editor wich can use animations/collisions/events, in various tiles-sizes (in progress)
- game events (options, ending, game, best scores, etc)
- more to come :)
I'll try to update this topic next when I'll start to use this framework for the game.
