Duplicate File Remover This program scans a folder (and any sub folders within it ) looking for duplicates of the same file. The files are compared byte level, not a file name level. When a duplicate file is found, it's moved to a deleted folder inside the original scan folder.
The original program was created to clean up my personal download (i.e. junk) folders, works well enough for my needs. Speed wise it's pretty reasonable, given we're talking about scanning folders with 25000 files (4 gigabyte)..
